Notes from NWRCHA President - Dave Diehl
Posted November 12, 2009
Members,

Current events have forced me to consider what is important and what might not be.
Some things I have determined to be important are friends, family and my animals.
Things I have determined to be unimportant, PRIDE, vanity and greed. That said, I would like to say to all NWRCHA's
members - Hard times are happening, if you need help feeding your horses, we are all family - ask the club for help.
The whole reason we exist is for the horses we cherish. Lose your pride, throw away the vanity
and let someone on the board know you need help. We can help - that's what friends and family are for. You all have access
to my email, cell phone and home phone, call me.
We have always been there for our members in need and other charities.
We take care of our own.

Members of NWRCHA,

First of all Happy New Year to everyone!
I would like to say thank you and congratulations to all our year end champions. You guys all rode great and really
deserve the time in the spot-light. NWRCHA and the board of directors are proud of all of you.
I think everyone will be be really happy with there awards, our sponsors have once again gone above and beyond to
allow us to provide great year end prizes for the champs. Thanks to Doug Stroud for year end saddle
opportunity, and Denise Fisher and Diane Edwards Garvin for amassing some great treasure.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the year end banquet, make your reservations now please. Check the web-site for
details, also please read the latest approved board meeting minutes. Go to events-click on the last set of minutes. I
believe
that many of the concerns voiced by the members through-out the year are addressed in the minutes from the last
meeting, and this may save time and confusion at the general membership meeting held annually before the
year end banquet. We can then address unresolved issues and ideas for the up-coming season. Note to the directors
we will be scheduling a board meeting prior to the general membership meeting to discuss the 2010 budget and shows
show format, etc.

Youth assoc members, I need to know if you are going to the world show asap and Walker Pozzi needs your contact
information. We would like to have jackets made for all but want to get the champs going to the world show done first.
As the youth
assoc failed to complete the task of acquiring coats I have completed it for them. We are going to go with plaid flannel
jackets with the nwrchya sewn on the back..........just kidding.......Black on black letterman's jackets with NWRCHYA
across the shoulder
the circle up logo center back and NWRCHA under that letters dark blue and teal like the club colors. In addition we will
be making patches that can be added to the jacket for achievement awards through the year ie high score fence work.
high score dry work etc.
The NWRCHA board has determined that the parents of youths should purchase the jackets cost is 80 youth and 100
for adult sizes embroidery is being donated by Denise.
Please if you are going let us know name and size asap so we can get them made.
All the youth club members should get the jackets please. World show exhibitors will receive theirs first. World show
exhibitors please email me directly ddiehl@ru-inc.com and I will get your ordered up.
